The first task that you must do after you create your Metaverse account is to make your Metaverse avatar. However, there are two types of avatars you can make- one for Decentraland (the central hub of the Metaverse) and other avatars for specific Metaverses. 

Here, we will explain how to create your Decentraland avatar. Therefore, follow the steps below:

1. After you Metaverse login, find and open Decentraland.
2. Next, click on the Your Avatar panel.
3. Now, your avatar creator will open up. With all the options provided to you, create the avatar that best represents you! You can also click on Randomize to roll with a random avatar.

4. Explore Genesis Plaza And The Metaverse!

Now that you have created your  Metaverse avatar, it’s time to jump into the world of Decentraland! Decentraland is the main connecting hub area of the Metaverse, which lets you access all the other created Metaverses.

1. After creating your Avatar, click on Enter Decentraland. 
2. Next, when a new page opens up, click on Drop Into Genesis Plaza.
3. After the area loads up, you will see your created avatar drop into Genesis Plaza – the starting area of Decentraland. You will also have many other avatars pop in left and right – which are all the other players joining in!
