Now You Can Check Out User Comments As “Notes” In Google Search Results

• Google launched a new experimental Search Labs feature called Notes.
• This allows users to leave comments or “Notes” on search results.
• Giving Notes about search results helps users guide other users to the right content they might be looking for.

Google has been amping up its efforts to make Google a more helpful place for users. Therefore, they have decided to add a new experimental feature called Notes – which literally allows you to write personalized Notes beside results on the search engine results page.

Since this is an experimental feature, it’s not publicly available for all users. For now, this feature has been rolled out in select regions and countries.

You can check if you can activate this feature by clicking on the Google Search Labs option to check if it shows up there or not. If it does, you are in luck!

Google Search Labs has added many interesting experimental features, one of them being the well-received Google Search Generative Experience (SGE) and the Google AR Beauty Lens. Now, Notes is the latest one to be added to this growing list of interesting features.

Now, if you get to use this feature, you will see that every search result now has two options underneath it – “Add Note” and “x Notes,” where x denotes the number of notes submitted by users so far. 

If you click on Add Note, you will get the option to add a personalized note for users regarding the search result. On the other hand, the ‘x Notes” option lets you see all the notes submitted by users so far.
