Even though the portal is easy to use, there can be some issues with logging in, sending the leave application, or downloading payslips. So, here are some troubleshooting tips for common issues.
If you forgot your password, you can click on the Forgot Password toggle. This will redirect you to your account and send a verification code to your contact number or email.
Once the verification is complete, you can reset the password from the portal. Then, you can try re-logging in to your account using the new password.
Verify Your ID Format: When resetting your password or logging in, enter your official Employee Code (your Buckle Number or MS ID).
The system will reject standard email IDs or names in the Username field.
If there is an issue with the OTP. Maybe you are not receiving it, or you are getting an error message for it. So, here’s how to solve it.
Firstly, check your credentials properly and make sure you are putting the right Employee ID and password.
Then, check your registered number or email ID. After that, click on Resend OTP to receive the verification code.
If you still don’t receive the OTP despite having a strong cellular network, your mobile number may not be updated in the system.
If you recently changed your phone number, contact your unit in-charge or the MSSC Headquarters in Mumbai to update your contact details in the master database before you can use the portal.
There can be issues with the system — the portal is not loading, or it is glitching while the credentials are typed in. So, in these cases, a few measures can be taken—
If you find that the portal has incorrect information about your attendance record, you can click on the “Leave and Attendance Module” to regularize it.
Also, you can use this section to check the status of your leave request. So, it is easier to get updates about whether your leave request is approved or not.

Note for Security Personnel: Because MSSC guards work alternating shift rotations, biometric attendance data can sometimes take 24 to 48 hours to sync across the digital system.
If your log shows an error immediately after a shift, wait a day for the server to refresh before raising an official correction request.
If you have tried all the troubleshooting steps above and still cannot log in, do not guess your credentials multiple times, as this can temporarily lock your employee account.
Instead, contact the official technical department for support:
Report the issue directly to your duty supervisor or security commander to escalate the glitch.
Visit the contact page on the official website (mahasecurity.gov.in) to locate current email addresses and phone lines dedicated to handling technical employee issues.
